Hello everyone,
Yesterday, the cement screed was applied on the "liquid insulation" in our new single-family house. Today, I noticed that in the living room, two opposite windows were left in the "tilt" position by the screed installer. The construction manager of the main contractor said I should try to close the windows from the outside. Since I could only close the windows in a "slightly open" position, I taped the two windows with foil to prevent air from entering the interior. Are screed damages caused by improper drying always immediately recognizable as such during the drying process, or can they only become apparent months or years later indirectly through consequential damage?
