Hello everyone,

For me, it’s now going into the final phase and after I have already changed the floor plans once (guest room on the ground floor, storage room removed, shower added, etc.), another revision has to be made because we will be building a flat roof with a window door over the extension and I will now redesign the bedroom again. The bedroom is causing me the most concern anyway...

In this context, I would be happy if you could take a look at the floor plan and tell me your opinions and ideas. You become “blind” to your own work at some point and often no longer see the obvious;)

The plans are correct so far, only that I will replace the window door in the guest room on the ground floor with a window (better furniture arrangement), swap the toilet and sink in the guest WC, and on the upper floor, push the dressing room completely flush towards the children’s room so that I have more space next to the bed (otherwise it was only 45 cm each). However, I will still upload pictures of the bedroom, as well as an idea with a door inside.

I would also be interested in feedback regarding the kitchen. U-shape, or still the 4-meter wall and then a kitchen island? What kind of window then?

Thank you all in advance

Please insert floor plans as jpg.

Kitchen: I would plan a peninsula with a depth of 1 meter. Occasionally, 60 cm is indeed too little.
I think a door to the terrace from the kitchen is great.

Glitter claws, white cars – everything has its time. Kitchen islands have been en vogue for several years now. I would especially plan with the idea that this trend could soon have peaked. So that a kitchen planned today could have a completely different layout in 2032 because people have grown tired of the island.

Is it called a peninsula when it is attached to the wall on one side?

But thanks, that's how I had thought about it too, then you could have breakfast there

I’ll do it right away. Can I replace it again in the original thread or should I post it in here again?
