Take a look at the position of the sun using the tools available on the internet. Especially in summer, the sun is more in the northwest in the evening – and that’s where the garage is located in your plan, as well as the access to the house. The orientation on your plans is basically okay and might even be more uniform in the street. I am just surprised because you specifically mention the evening sun as a priority, but this is not really taken into account in the orientation. A nice tree could be planted in the south corner of the property, which would provide nice shade on the terrace at noon in 20 years.
