What you are proposing won’t work like that. has already written quite a lot about that.

The development plan is attached. I don’t have a height plan. As a rule, one can say that the sidewalk (left) is level and the property slopes linearly by 1m down to the also level field path (right). Cross sections do not yet exist, but the ground floor should be about three steps above the sidewalk, so that the light well at the back of the house will be about 1.30m deep.

In my opinion, the basement is not in the budget. Only if the whole house becomes more compact.

If 1.0 million for the house is not enough, then I have to take that seriously, but does that mean a castle in the air?

I'm a bit frustrated that posts were deleted three times afterwards and ypg is therefore working from false assumptions.
There is already an internal staircase from the ground floor to the basement.
Before I give up, I will still try again with the 3D views.

Again:
Priority 1: Ground floor for a 60+ couple,
Priority 2: Basement with a separate apartment but access to the ground floor,
Priority 3: Attic expandable with as much own access as possible.

Yes, for us.
After clearing out the basement in the family house, it was clear to us: never again a basement.
One level just for us,
expansion reserve in the upper floor, which the successors can implement if needed.
Three rooms are enough for us, space for grandchildren and family gatherings of up to 20 people is sufficient.

Somehow I miss the development plan. Just tell me what it is called. Then we'll find it for sure.

If with UG then somewhat smaller which is easy to do.

I can't find the internal staircase to the UG.

I would already set the ground floor a bit higher. What roof pitch is planned? How high is the knee wall? Max height of eaves and ridge?
