Questionnaire about your floor plan

For an individual and constructive assessment of your design, please provide the forum with the following information by copying the list below and inserting it into your post with the appropriate explanations.
Please also include a site plan with trees, neighboring buildings, and building plot. Without a site plan, for example, the entrance area or the location of the garage/carport cannot be assessed. Views are also helpful to get an impression. If you already have any sketches or preliminary designs, please upload them as well.

If you have already dealt with all the details of financing, additional building costs, and the development plan, filling this out should not be a problem for you.

Please keep in mind that these discussions here at HBF are not led by architects or engineers, but by the builders themselves who incorporate their experiences, knowledge, thought processes, and considerations from their own house construction into the critique. This critique is valuable because it comes ruthlessly honestly from the heart; nevertheless, feasibility should always be left to a professional.

Why is the design as it is now? e.g.
Standard design from the planner?
Which/wishful requests were implemented by the architect?
A mixture of many examples from various magazines...
What makes it particularly good or bad in your eyes?

And: it may be that the design fails in every respect with the users. The criticism is usually given to you unfiltered—so prepare for that. However, no one means harm but rather wants to present their point of view or open your eyes.

One last tip: also take a look at the ongoing discussions and neighboring threads: I often find that with the same conditions, similar discussion requests run in parallel. Thus, you often find answers to your questions through these discussions or ideas how other users try to solve this or that problem in their house construction.
