Hello everyone,

we are currently in the process of optimizing our floor plan, and I hope to get some good advice here.

A special focus is on the fireplace, which currently does not yet meet our expectations. Our wish would be to move the fireplace further to the east so that it is better positioned between the living room and the dining room.

This would create a nicer room atmosphere and highlight the fireplace as a central element between the two rooms.

The problem here is that the chimney shaft on the upper floor then blocks the space for the wardrobe in the master bedroom and also obstructs the door.

We are facing the challenge of finding a solution that considers both the fireplace on the ground floor and the room usage on the upper floor.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we could solve the problem? Maybe by moving the doors or rethinking the hallway layout?

Perhaps you have had similar experiences or creative approaches that could help us further.

I look forward to your suggestions and feedback! I am attaching the floor plan so you can get a better picture.

Thank you very much in advance!

The fireplace does not necessarily have to be located directly next to the chimney. You can bridge a certain distance with pipes. You have to observe certain distances to the neighbor for the chimney anyway.

He could for example end up in the wardrobe, then the shower moves a bit towards the top of the plan.

Where is the mentioned east supposed to be?

And if the chimney on top is removed from the bedroom, you won't have any more closet space. Who is that supposed to be enough for?
You are planning the bedroom as a walk-through room, I would definitely change that.

Where will the technology go?

Hi, why is that? What stands out negatively?

Hello, thank you for your answer. The "problem" is the chimney, or rather its placement.. So that on the ground floor and upper floor the chimney has a suitable path..
