It is of course quite expensive to convert 3 levels into living space. Only if you do not want the all-purpose room in the basement/cellar, should you at least place the bedrooms there with external access and then give up half of the upper floor – then the ground floor can serve as a roof terrace. Or something like that. There are countless variants, but you have to plan, put thoughts into it, and calculate. I only know a true cellar room in the basement from old buildings, from the time when animals were still kept in the house and there was a shed door down there leading to the outside.

A convertible is not a disaster either - it's just that even with a foldable rear seat, it's not the same as a station wagon.

Can you name a freeware with which I can represent something similar and visualize my ideas? aptly called my plot “prescription-only” and honestly, I can’t find anyone else with ideas except the people here.

could you maybe post more details about the house? Because it actually sounds quite similar to what we’re planning (single-family house with an apartment in the basement, side carport, a lot of retaining walls, and currently still with one level that is kind of halfway between basement and ground floor).

That would be really wonderful. Thank you.
