Why has the design turned out as it is now? e.g.

Corresponding/Which wishes were implemented by the architect?
Bathroom and guest room equally large
Hello everyone,
the two of us have bought an approx. 125m2 gallery apartment in Bavaria.
The building is an 8-unit house and we share the attic floor with another owner.
The apartment features on the "ground floor":
- open living area with staircase to the gallery 57m2 (minus roof slope approx. 51m2) Ceiling height here approx. 5m at the ridge
- hallway 7.8m2
- bathroom 8.8m2
- office/guest room 8.8m2
- bedroom: 19.1m2
- roof terrace facing west
in the attic:
- open gallery approx. 10m2
- office approx. 10m2
The 2m line is drawn.
For the gallery, we imagined an open staircase (possibly white) with handrail only on the wall side, so that it does not appear too bulky in the room.
Unfortunately, I am unsure about the floor plan whether the missing guest WC and the somewhat small hallway will be missed or bothersome in the long run.
Also, I would like other opinions on the floor plan regarding meaningfulness and logic. :)
What do you think about the windows? Are they sufficient?
Currently, we are still in a construction phase where changes can still be made easily. Therefore, I am open to any criticism and maybe someone will see something we have overlooked.
Best regards
