Only to be understood as food for thought: Even if the planning and the compromise are really not good, could the boxes possibly be hidden under the bathtub or the shower tray? The bathtub might then no longer rest entirely on the concrete. Isn’t there perhaps a false wall installation that could be used? For example, extending the tub or extending the toilet? Where will the heating circuit distributor be installed?

Holy moly. I can only advise you that the distributors should definitely not end up on the floor. I also don’t understand why Vallox doesn’t discourage this. I have the same boxes hanging from the ceiling in my utility room. Since Vallox doesn’t offer a nice cover, I am currently having one made. These are boxes intended for maintenance (hence the possibility to open them) and should simply be freely accessible. Of course, you can also clean through the other openings, but then you’ll have dirt and technicians in every room. The boxes don’t seem particularly sturdy to me either. Having such a large hollow space with a narrow frame in the ceiling wouldn’t seem ideal to me.

Indeed, the idea with the bathtub is good. However, it is now obsolete; today the liquid insulation was poured. The heating circuit distributor is under the washbasin.

So this is what our underfloor heating loop looks like. Apparently, everything is carefully considered with the heating.
