Our chimney sweep is supposed to be relatively strict; others in the residential area have also already had mixed experiences.

Since the wood stove has not yet been finally chosen, but will probably be from the "hardware store" category for cost reasons, we certainly won't get around a pressure monitor. Selection of the specific stove will of course be done in consultation with the chimney sweep; I have already printed out various data sheets/certifications from the manufacturers.

The price limit for the stove is €3000; unfortunately, you simply don’t get very far with a stove maker for that.

But despite the pressure monitor, I still come out cheaper.

Hi,

oh well, you can get something with 3000 bucks, it’s no longer DIY store quality. We have a Skantherm Emotion M. We paid just over €3000 for the Dibt version. In spring there are often offers and 10% promotions at stove builders.

Regards,

Andreas

And chimney sweeps no longer have compulsory customers... You can also hire someone other than the strict one. I went through this two years ago in BW for a family member for an old existing wood stove with glass doors. One wanted it dismantled, the other classified it as an open fireplace and therefore permissible. Since then, he has also been doing the somewhat more lucrative things like energy certificates for me.

Best regards
Gabriele

Justus Reno R. Justus is the hardware store series from Oranjer and the certified RLU stove Reno R costs about a thousand euros. At toom, there are occasional €25 voucher cards per €100 purchase value and a trailer rental free for 5 hours from €250. They load it onto the trailer with a forklift. The stones at the edge and the lid can be unscrewed, then it only weighs 100-120 kilos, so you can easily unload and move it yourself. Otherwise, you can simply filter for ditb certified or RLU on feuerdepot or whatever the online shops are called, and see what's available.

The initial commissioning has to be done by the district chimney sweep.
