Interesting. What does such a cooling ceiling look like in practice? I only know it from office buildings, but that’s not something for the living room. So what does it look like in single-family homes? Why not use controlled residential ventilation for air conditioning?
Energy storage systems are not yet very cost-effective. Can you get them so cheaply that it still makes sense? Also note that you might not get funding if the execution is not carried out by a professional company. Materials for own work are no longer subsidized, right?

Controlled residential ventilation requires significantly more energy and cools the air directly, which requires air humidifiers and dehumidifiers. A much more complex and vulnerable system. Not to mention the maintenance effort.

That does not answer my question. What exactly is it supposed to look like? Do you want to embed the cooling pipes in the plaster, or hang visible plates from the ceiling? Anything that is somehow visible will be perceived as a construction blunder in the future.

A chilled ceiling in a single-family house is as new and innovative as the wall heating in the bathroom for covering heating output. Namely, not at all. These are partly tried and tested methods. Just like an air well for [Controlled residential ventilation]. Nothing new, nothing exciting, just particularly unknown or unwelcome in the world of companies because it requires updated expertise. When you see how companies already struggle with the design of underfloor heating, that should not surprise you.
