My fiancée (28) and I (32) are planning a new build and wanted to ask you briefly for advice.

The net income (man - civil servant) is about €3415.15, (woman - legal trainee) is €700. Additionally, there are secondary incomes of €350 (man) and €200 (woman). Our total net income is therefore €4665.15. It is planned that my fiancée will work as a lawyer for 1-2 years and then take parental leave (2 children). After parental leave, she would like to work part-time.

We have set the following expenses as follows (for both):
Private health insurance €250.00
Car insurance €99.51
Car tax €51.67
Mobile phone €50.00
Internet/phone €34.90
Subscription €15.00
Household insurance €10.56
Home and landowner liability insurance €3.17
Private liability insurance €4.12
Legal protection insurance €12.16
Groceries €600.00
Gasoline €200.00
Broadcasting fee €18.00
Water €41.67
Electricity €75.00
Waste disposal fees €24.46
Building insurance €37.10
Property tax €66.67
Additional insurance €25.00
Vacation €166.67
Clothing €200.00
Savings €100.00
Total: €2085.64

This would leave €2175.53 remaining. Do you think a monthly charge for the loan (repayment and interest) of €1620 is too high? Do you recognize any missing item or errors in the expenses?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

I miss heating costs and other expenses (besides groceries) such as clothing, furniture, vacations, and other irregular items in the statement.

What is this for: property tax, building insurance, house and land HPV, what other charges come from this?

But it hardly changes anything fundamentally.

Vacation is included, furniture (solid wood) is already available.

Heating is done with an air heat pump, what costs are incurred for this with a size of 160 sqm?

Property tax = goes to the municipality

Repair, wear and maintenance of the car are missing. It may also need to be replaced if necessary.

How secure is the additional income?

Secondary income is relatively secure. The income will also increase every two or three years, so that the value assumed today can be achieved in a few years even without secondary income.

What value should be assumed for the car? I thought that the remaining amount would definitely cover these costs.
