We know many of the people who are now opposing our development area; they are not strangers. The signature list is publicly accessible on openpetition. In situations like this, you really get to know your fellow citizens, not just superficially. Very unfortunate. We also briefly considered building elsewhere with a better feeling, but we are going through with this now and hope that the excitement will settle down over time.

The lucky ones should be glad that a new development area secures their nearest Aldi location. When they have to hobble there with their walker, something like that becomes really crucial for them. There are idiots ...

Best regards from the south of the republic and a friendly hello! It is really a shame when other people resist and call for protests. Especially older ones (although I can slowly count myself among them :D) are sometimes so dissatisfied with their lives that they simply don't want to grant it to others and are purely hateful against it. I think it's great that you are sticking with it! Hats off! I wish you much success and that the others just shut up for once :D I would be happy to hear and see something about your project!

Hello everyone,

Yes, you can hardly believe what rare bats, salamanders, and nesting birds suddenly turn up :)

It was the same with us... and I could also understand the residents because they built there on the outskirts 20 years ago with direct meadows and fields in front of their doors, and now building is suddenly taking place there.

In 20 years, I will probably also have to watch out for the protected animal species :)

Strangely enough, it is precisely the dissatisfied ones - especially those for whom (if you believe their complaining) everything could only get better - who are absolutely against change. Or - also "always gladly taken" - they cling to supposedly hated situations because they have now become "an old married couple" with them.

But first, you cannot stay thirty forever by begrudging building plots to the younger generations; and second, such "staying among themselves" would come at a high price: aging and extinction of their place of residence. First the purchasing power dies, then the local supply dies. But then you just crawl into the car at ninety and drive to the Aldi in the next district town ;-)
