This faucet also has a ceramic cartridge; the OP perhaps shouldn't try to save at the wrong end

Who says that I want to save money in the wrong place?

Sorry if I might have stepped on your toes! The Grohe Cosmopolitan costs about €90.00, which is not much. In my experience - we are currently renovating 2 houses and with that also the bathrooms - simple elegance and high-quality fittings easily cost three times as much or more. Edit: and I already have good contacts .... Rhenish regards

It wasn't about the price for me, but only about the shape. Maybe I expressed myself incorrectly. I would simply like the bathtub faucet and washbasin faucets to have the same shape.

Then it will certainly be easier to purchase the bath and washbasin faucet => AND at the same time the shower faucet <= together. Sell the existing one on Ebay Classifieds. The time you would otherwise have to spend finding something suitable is certainly better invested in your job

Rhenish greetings

Why does the faucet always have to be positioned at the back on a countertop washbasin? Slightly offset to the side, depending on the faucet, can actually look really stylish.
