Facade renovation: stripping or elastic fabric or what?

Hello, our house needs a facade renovation. Now there are very different offers and renovation methods available, it feels like every craftsman says something different. What would be the best method? Is stripping the paint sensible/necessary? Does anyone have experience with (Kobau) elastic fabric, or does it cause the building to no longer be able to breathe? As can be seen in the photos, the facade already has many patched cracks.

What does "Fassadensanierung" mean? What is the goal of the "Sanierung"?
Stripping paint only means removing the old paint from the facade. Is that necessary? And what is supposed to happen afterwards?

Hey, your house has windows. That has allowed "breathing" for 100 years, not through the walls. You can apply whatever you want. The house will not suffocate.

Moisture partially penetrates through the cracks and leads to mold inside. That means the cracks should be repaired and the facade subsequently repainted. However, one craftsman said that the old paint must definitely be stripped off beforehand. But as I said, it feels like every tradesman says something different.

OMG - continuous cracks reaching inside... More needs to be done than just some filling and painting. To be honest, I would then consider a proper renovation including insulation. That is not much more expensive either.
