Hello everyone,
I live on a farm where over the years I have made a second floor habitable. Now I have the problem that I have no idea how to insulate the walls from the outside.
Currently, the walls are built from K+S stones and are not insulated from the outside. Now I thought OK, attaching Styrofoam is an idea, but this is not breathable, which can mean that in such an old house mold can develop quickly. Does anyone have another idea how I can make my walls warmer?
Btw. I was thinking of mineral wool boards... but so far I could only find ones for facades, which are correspondingly much more expensive than just glass wool. Also, I have little desire to screw 100mm beams to every wall, that would be a huge effort given the size.
I am very thankful for all information,
Regards, Snot
