Hello,

We are planning to buy a new terraced mid-terrace house. After each construction phase and invoice, we have to carry out and approve the respective acceptance. Our bank advisor told us that experts such as [Dekra] do such things. For example, a one-time fee of about €1500 and about €150 per invoice. Since we are borrowers and do not want to take any risks, we definitely want to do it.

Which organization or expert is good and affordable? Who has had good experiences?

Approx. 170m2 plot size including garage
Living area: approx. 125.48 m2
Usable area: approx. 48.90 m2

Good and cheap exclude each other. TÜV, Dekra, Bauherren-Schutzbund, Verband Privater Bauherren have all the information on their websites.

Not necessarily. There is surely someone for whom the price-performance ratio is right. Just like with products.

We worked with TÜV. We had previously received an offer of approximately 2,600 euros. Despite an additional visit, a preliminary acceptance, this was not charged, so in the end it was exactly 2,600 euros. We were satisfied with the work.

2600€ doesn't sound like much. How many invoices or approvals have they done?

We have agreed on nearly €2000 and five inspections have been scheduled. This is done by an architect who offers this as a client service.
