Good day,
I probably have a problem with my wall.
Mold was visible on the wallpaper, and the smell was not pleasant either. The wallpaper was removed, underneath were insulation boards, so an internal insulation. The material of the insulation is unknown to me, possibly cork??? I will attach pictures. Probably from old times, the house was built at the end of the 18th century. What worries me the most are the joints between the masonry. Are these bricks? What are they called? The joints can be completely removed very easily with a finger or screwdriver. To me, it looks like sand from a sandbox. This is not mortar like nowadays that is really hard, that would crumble out, or am I mistaken?
What was used here for the joints? With what can I refill the joints? Despite everything, no stone is loose or even easy to loosen.
The part of the wall is not cellared.
How should I proceed best?
Thank you very much in advance, I would be very happy to receive answers :)
