I do hope that you disposed of them properly!
Then just wait and see what the lab tells you. How long is that supposed to take?
By now, we have become quite well-versed in the matter and naturally also follow the disposal regulations.
I will send the sample to the lab on Monday; the processing time after sample receipt is usually 2-3 working days. With a bit of luck, we will receive the result by the end of next week. Until then, we will probably have to keep our fingers crossed.
In the course of my research, I came across the construction pollutant documentation “Polludoc.” Under “Single-layer floor coverings (in rolls),” there is also an exemplary illustration of a PVC floor covering that looks strikingly similar to ours, with the description: “
Fiber-reinforced PVC floor covering without asbestos.”
Also interesting is the information: “Adhesives that are not based on bitumen (i.e., not black) can also contain asbestos, although much less frequently than bitumen adhesives.”
I think this gives us and hopefully all fellow sufferers the long-awaited “slight all-clear” for the time being. :)
Many thanks for your support and best regards
