Experience values for the sound level in dB_A of a central controlled residential ventilation system

We have a Vaillant recoVAIR. The unit itself in the basement is already a bit louder... When it runs at full load and you sit under a vent in the living room, I hardly hear anything... I can measure the dBA level sometime when I get the chance...

Would be very interesting to me. It is important when measuring that dB_A or dB(A) is measured and not some unfiltered dB. Otherwise, 1 meter distance from the ventilation outlet.

We definitely would not recommend the Helios controlled residential ventilation, in the rooms the ventilation is clearly audible on the normal setting and we find the noises unpleasant.

doesn't sound good. I'm glad that our ventilation expert refused to sell us the planned Helios at the last second and persuaded me to go for a Zehnder system. He told me back then about exactly this noise issue, he had just taken back a Helios system and then dropped it from the program.

Probably not much help to you, but these problems seem to occur more often with Helios.

Is that so? We also want to install a Helios and so far I haven't heard any negative experiences. All the more, I am interested in negative experiences if more people have reports.

I have now read several times about the volume problems with the combination of [Sommer-Bypass] and [Pollenfilter] in certain Helios models. So far, I have not heard of general volume problems with Helios. But our system is already four times as loud in the basement (12 dB_A more) than specified in the catalog.
