Nearby in 2019 a 1.5-story house was built with Viebrockhaus – ground floor inner shell built with aerated concrete blocks, insulation, outer shell brick slips. Upper floor/roof/dormer made of wood, partially clad with brick slips. Inside only very few walls (utility room) plastered, most drywall. Apparently they did a clean job and it makes a good impression. Considering the many wood/drywall parts, also a lot of fuss about the celebrated "solid" construction method.

calculated by the planner at the time.
heat transfer area 230 sqm volume 222km
annual heating energy demand 4015 kWh/a
calculated insulation attached

actually billed in electricity_heat (i.e. heating + hot water)
basement with 70 sqm at 3000 kWh
living area with 200 sqm at 10100 kWh

enormous.
ok we actually don't want to heat the basement anymore. At most keep the ventilation system running, should be doable with a timer
residential ventilation likewise with timer or on button when bathroom is wet/humid or so. Otherwise off.

then gas + solar thermal for hot water probably cheapest
or wood pellet + solar thermal for hot water
or ground source heat pump + solar thermal for hot water
main thing is that the house doesn’t get moldy

think in 20-25 years the 3 kids will be out. after 20 years the investment should be amortized.
considering current subsidies and rising electricity prices probably sooner

This is now too specific for me, I would go to the other forum in red with your questions and ask for help there.

Are the values the pure power consumption of the system?

Oh dear, even with a new heating system, high heating costs will be present.

Perhaps better insulation could be achieved through insulating the attic ceiling or other measures to reduce energy demand.

The high costs are probably due to the concept of exhaust air heat and the associated supply air openings for all rooms in the exterior walls. This usually works with passive houses but not with a "3 Liter" house which probably corresponds more to Kfw 70.

To be honest, I don’t see that. The energy demand of a total of 13,000 kWh per year is actually very low and at new building level.
