Oh dear, that's annoying.
Does your ventilation system not manage to remove the humid air or vapors??
Which exhaust vent are you planning to install? A Blower-Door-certified one would be the perfect solution.

Long-term experiences from owners of such solutions would be very helpful.

Hello,
we also have a central controlled residential ventilation system and an exhaust hood, and as the AMaurtkasten we have the FLOWSTAR150 from Naber. Looks stylish and works.

We have the Berbel wall box. We also had it before, it works very well. The flap is opened electrically. I believe the Naber box works without electric drive, but that is said to cause problems when the wind blows against the opening and at house corners, where the caps can be torn open by wind suction.

Energy losses through the extractor hood are a joke. What is important is that moisture and odors go directly outside and do not have to be ventilated out manually or by the controlled residential ventilation system.

There is also a supply air counterpart to the Berbel wall box if it is needed for pressure equalization. Disadvantage: Another breakthrough is required.

Bratac, I am also interested in the Flowstar150. Can you provide more details?

: Which wall box from Berbel do you have? Can I also use it with a Neff hood (Siemens)? What does the interior condition look like after all these years?

Hello.

This is the BMK-L 150. The model works with "all" hoods, it detects the pressure increase in the pipe.

In our old house, the thing has been doing a good job for years. What can be seen from the outside looks clean. Due to the good experiences, I installed such a thing myself in the new house. It's actually quite simple, core drilling didn't cost much.
