3% interest with payment holiday ... that sounds like life insurance assuming future surpluses. Ask the home builders of the 90s how well they fared with that ... hands off!

And hands off the "advisor" who tries to talk you into something like that. They are not on your side, that much is certain.

Paying off life insurance policies nowadays is a no-go. Debeka, I have no idea how they can still offer something like that. Haven't seen anything like it in a long time.

Email with the documents has been sent. I have also removed the password from the Debeka documents and attached them again. and thank you very much, you helped me with a very important point. Namely, finding this financing option from Variant 1 through the life insurance online. Until now, my attempts had failed to find relevant experiences, etc., under the Debeka name (mortgage loan). That has strengthened our gut feeling to keep distance from this option. Through our house bank / Schwäbisch Hall, we were also offered a building savings model, which, however, was very poor in terms of conditions by comparison. That is why we inquired at Debeka, since we have had insurance policies (private health insurance and Riester pension) with them for several years. We now have to assess how to deal with it if we receive such a proposal from the "advisor."

Super, I have already replied.

Yes, in my eyes the LV offer is grossly negligent, and I choose my words carefully. The disadvantages of this type of financing "deferred repayment against LV" can be read about everywhere, everywhere!

Can you also upload or send the Schwäbisch Hall offer? It will also be bad, but it can provide one or the basis for further assistance/discussions.

Keep your hands off the offer with [Lebensversicherung]. The provider has virtually disqualified themselves with it!

We basically have all our insurances with Debeka and are actually very satisfied there. Of course, we also inquired about financing there. The same crap as with you, just in green. Apart from the fact that the conditions were bad, the constructs were somehow confusing and created an uneasy feeling. One of them also included a life insurance policy. I had sworn not to take out a loan that comes with insurance attached. We then also gave the Debeka Bank a wide berth. They should stick to their insurances.
