Ergonomic, comfortable office chair

It should definitely be swivelable, possibly with wheels and super comfortable, not a high-back chair.

I am also surprised by this statement. Possibly with wheels... I say... definitely with wheels. And, you have to try a high-back chair, I find it absolutely comfortable with the right chair.

I hadn't really considered the with/without casters aspect, especially since it will be for the woman. But now it's clear, it will be WITH casters.

I would rather recommend a height-adjustable desk so that you can also stand while working.

I can only recommend a height-adjustable desk. I have one at the company and I also got one for home last winter. I use the desk standing for 1/3 to 1/4 of my working time per day. The height-adjustable desk is now more important to me than a good office chair.

So, my wife's decision has been made. During a visit to the specialist retailer, we were pointed to an existing showroom of the manufacturer Dauphin here in Dresden with all models, colors, and equipment. We originally hadn't even considered this brand, but ultimately it was also a deciding factor that the manufacturer itself is practically on-site in case of any problems, plus you could nicely try out all kinds of models. It has now become a Dauphin comfort XT. Purely visually, other models from the manufacturer or other manufacturers might have been nicer, but for the required purpose, the selection on-site, and ultimately also the proximity to the manufacturer, this was chosen as the model. Thank you for your participation, we also noticed that living here in DD is somewhat provincial regarding such things.

Great that you found the right one. For other readers: Regarding the appearance: I have to admit that I have worked my entire professional life with company-provided furniture, of course without test sitting. For me, all the seats are absolutely ugly. But: everything, absolutely everything, can be adjusted so that none of us "10000" employees could complain. Everyone can sit as individually as their body likes. In this respect, I can also recommend ordering a professional chair.. and it is comfortable (and healthy) even without a test sit :)

Dauphin is, however, a very reputable brand.
