However, the building application must still be approved this year, otherwise there will be nothing.

BMW plans to distribute 1.65 billion(!) in dividends soon.

Profit from 2010 to 2019: 84 billion

Looks to me like quite an emergency, the taxpayer should be able to chip in here.

Exactly what I mean. The car manufacturers already get enough subsidies from the country/state. They should keep quiet now just because one year goes badly...

There was already an indirect conjunction package for me: The tax office approved everything (and by that I mean everything) I declared on the tax return, some of which obviously should have been rejected.

The tax returns are now checked by machines. You were lucky with the AI.

VW has already made cuts, as could be seen in the press yesterday.

The automotive industry has an enormous ripple effect. The ripple effect gains nothing if the big players don’t make profits, don’t pay bonuses, and just somehow survive. The factory worker, the supplier, the temporary workers, the small subs consisting of a maximum of 1-2 employees. How are they supposed to be promoted, protected, supported? The easiest way is to ensure that enough is ordered and bought.
It is undisputed that problems are also being covered up with this again.
I know many who are caught in this ripple effect, fighting for their existence. Many who are on the verge of losing everything.
What use is it to support restaurateurs with a tax relief if many can no longer afford to eat out?
Here in our region, so many at the end of the food chain are already having massive problems. Some have been on short-time work benefits for 3 months, some small sole proprietors would be happy to have that much.
Those who are already barely getting by do not support the hairdresser, the gastronomy, the hotel industry, or retail. Those who really need to make sales now in order to somehow survive the lockdown.

Those who can still consider building have come through the corona crisis well so far. Is a subsidy sensible here? Will really more be built if there is a child building grant, a home allowance, etc.?

Money must be pumped into the economy in the form of investments and consumption. Preferably controlled in a way that the greatest value creation remains in our country.
