Draw floor plan, with which program?

I also have a question about this: I have the sweethome 3D planner and find it quite good. But can I somehow merge the OG and EG and have the house shown from the outside as well? Like views or something? Or with which program can I do that?

I worked with Google's SketchUp back then.... it took a lot of time and was a lot of fun. However, I only recreated the architect's design.... we left the planning to the professional.

We had some ideas and concepts, but just 10 minutes after the planning session started, the house looked different :9

I started with SweetHome 3D, the program is very simple and intuitive to use and free of charge. Unfortunately, you can only create roofs with various workarounds and you quickly reach limits otherwise, in 3D such a house looks quite awful.

I have now switched to Ashampoo CAD 4 Professional. It is no longer quite as intuitive, but for someone who has already worked with any kind of CAD program it is not a big problem.

But for €300, it's better to let the architect do it; they have to revisit it anyway.

Simply type "meinHausplaner" into Google, and then download the free version. Absolutely easy to use, with visualization of exterior views/furniture, etc...

I would also recommend Sweethome 3D. You can import a lot of furniture and other objects from the Google Sketchup collection there. For example, a large part of the Ikea range is available there. This way you can immediately see if the furniture will later fit in the rooms. Since all the furniture can be "deformed," you are extremely flexible. In the end, photorealistic images can be generated, with simulation of all light sources. And the best part: the program is not only free of charge but even open source.
