I would like to doubt that a bit. Because with a drainage system, you attract all the surrounding waters. For this reason, we only install drains when it cannot be avoided.

Our situation was also a bit special. We have a sloping plot and a spring comes from above, so in addition to the drainage around the house, we also installed a drainage between our plot and the one from which the spring comes. In this way, we have essentially "dried out" the plot (since the spring did not flow very deep and thus moistened the surface of the plot).
