Hello,

we are building a semi-detached house and are in the process of selecting the windows. We are currently leaning towards triple glazing with a U-value of 0.6 and a Gealan 7000 profile with 5 chambers and a profile depth of 74 mm.

It is often said that windows with triple glazing become too heavy, which would affect their durability.

What is your opinion / experience!?

Hello,
no worries, the windows which can be equipped with triple glazing are also designed for the greater load.
I would also opt for triple glazing in new construction.
