Hello everyone,

unfortunately, I cannot find anything either in the forum or on Google. Most manufacturers already consider a height of 2.10m to be a special feature. My impression is rather that this dimension is now frequently used. However, we would like to have doors that are 2.30 meters or 2.50 meters high and unfortunately cannot find prices anywhere.

Has anyone of you installed such doors, possibly even in [Weisslack] and flush closing, and can give us a price indication?

Thanks in advance!

Good evening,

There are really enough providers; for example, Herholz®, Prüm®, Grauhoff®, Jeld-Wen®, Garant® and many more.

2.30 or even 2.50 m as an interior door is a dimension that goes beyond any standard; accordingly, the price. If a usual interior door including frame costs € 300.00, the price for flush doors (without visible hinges) will increase anyway, and even more for custom sizes. Starting at € 460.00 upwards would be my tip.

A good alternative is to inquire with the local timber merchant or carpenter.

Rhenish greetings

But then it also depends on which version of flush is chosen: flush, flush with rebate, or flush with double rebate. Then also the door leaf, honeycomb, tubular strip, tubular core, solid core. Also the frame system, door handle set......

Depending on the selection, I would rather estimate a price starting from around 700 euros.

I forgot to add "per door leaf" in my reply; sorry!

You can go broke on interior doors

For example, we paid €380.00 each at a specialist retailer for a smooth tubular core door (CPL) including frames/handles; more expensive than usual because the frames in an old building are all different. For a beautiful and about 80-year-old wooden door frame, I need a glass door; narrower and significantly taller than the standard. Don’t ask....

Rhenish regards

If you want to order something like that online, where would you do it?

We have Grauthoff doors installed upstairs, but for the granny flat they are definitely too expensive for me; 1900 euros for 3 doors, one of which is a KlimaZone 2 door, is definitely too much.

I also got a quote at Hornbach, but the doors feel cheap.
Bauhaus was even more expensive at 2000 euros because of custom size according to the seller, which I don't believe.

The rough construction dimension in our basement is 2130x880
