Door intercom / door station - POE

Hello everyone,

the topic of door intercom systems is so far the most confusing for me regarding electrical matters.

What I am actually looking for is a simple expandable system that runs over Ethernet via POE, so that I can simply lay a CAT 7 and a J-Y(St)Y 2x2x0.8 cable to all doors and gates that I may want to open.

Doesn’t seem like too fancy a requirement. But I don’t really understand the systems. So far, Doorbird appeals to me the most.

Do you have any tips?

Had also already considered bringing 2N into play, but then something else was more important.

There would also be Goliath and of course the various Chinese if it is supposed to be cheap. (Not necessarily good and cheap).

I have a Hager Elcom IP. I believe it can be expanded up to 5 door stations (all of course with cameras). It works exactly the same via CAT and control cable for the door opener. You wouldn't even need this control cable because it is possible to connect the door opener directly to the speaker module. But for security reasons, it is better to connect the front door directly to the control cable and operate the door opener internally (control cabinet).

By the way, it turned out to be a Doorbird system. Very stylish, image quality is good, everything powered via PoE and super easy setup, so far very satisfied!
