Does a student get credit?

So I took out a loan back then as a student. It was really tough to pay it back with interest. But it had to be done, it was an emergency and thank God it went well. But I think it should only be recommended in emergencies.

If you are sure that you can pay back the loan later, then I would say, why not! However, you should be quite certain about it... otherwise there is still the risk that you will never be debt-free in the future. This happened to an acquaintance of mine. She took out a loan 10 years ago and now has more debt than ever...

I see it similarly to the others here. Even though it is possible to get one, I would also rather advise against it. Just too dangerous. Something can always happen, and if you then cannot pay it back, it would not be worth it.
