Hello,
we are currently planning and trying to save costs and are in the process of replacing the FHB with regular radiators. However, we do not want to have them in front of the windows... so we are asking ourselves: today, in a new building with timber frame construction, do radiators have to be installed under the window, or is it just as good elsewhere in the room? The room size per room is under 30 sqm, windows are triple-glazed. We are not building according to KFW standards, but the carpenter said that because of the wood, it is thick and insulated enough.
Do you have any experience with this?
