The stone washbasin (see photo further ahead) is about 10 cm high. We are now considering buying a faucet (Hansgrohe Metris 200) with a spout length of approximately 195 mm. That means there would be about 10 cm between the top edge of the basin rim and the water outlet. Is that roughly normal, or are we planning too tightly? There are of course taller fittings, but we thought that if the spout starts at about 25 cm, the water would splash more. Logical error or correct?
