DIY automatic door closer for IKEA PAX wardrobe doors

Hello everyone,

I have a perhaps somewhat unusual request: I would like the doors of my Ikea Pax wardrobe to close automatically.

My wardrobe looks roughly like this:


The doors are attached with soft-closing hinges.



Does anyone have an idea how I could make a door closer for this wardrobe? The closer should be relatively weak so that I can still open the drawer.

Thank you. I have read through it. They use brake flap holders from Hettich-Aquila there. However, the prices for these closing systems are well above what I can and want to spend. I am rather looking for a well-functioning low-budget solution :D

Low-budget? Place a friend or girlfriend behind the door.
