We are still two. Next year three, maybe sometime four. The house is designed for 2 children. :-)

Well, how often does it happen that you take a bath and immediately after 3 people want to shower - you are absolutely right. How long does it take for the water to "recharge"?

What about the option "put it somewhere else"? Is that possible?

When the kids are with me, it happens 3-4 times a week that all three of them shower (due to the horse hobby). I deliberately did not plan a bathtub. Charging depends on the charge level. At a low temperature, it can also take half or three-quarters of an hour. Apart from that, with children it very often happens that you want to shower around the same time. For example, in the morning before work/school. You have no idea how much kids "stink" once they hit puberty (they can't help it) - you can send them into the shower every few hours... Having is by the way better than not having. For 150-200€ extra, you buy a lot of comfort.

Are you contradicting yourself right now? I can't quite follow. :-)

I still have the question of whether the memory can also be relocated.

Nope, I'm just saying that you very often use the shower with kids and (in my experience) you'll later be annoyed by the small tank. Back to your question: Of course, you can place the tank wherever you want (whether buffer or hot water). The device doesn't care if the pipes are 50cm or 10m long. Proper pipe insulation and routing are, of course, mandatory.

Ours has 180 liters. After almost 4 years in the house (there are two of us), it has never had any quantity issues.

Buffer storage is unnecessary, hot water storage is not. So completely remove the buffer storage and instead use a larger hot water storage tank.

Unfortunately, not all heating engineers can be convinced of this, because the buffer storage makes their lives a bit easier (no planning of permanently open heating circuits/exemption from ERR/customers who turn off all ERRs anyway, etc.).
