Why not just use the supplied adapter?! It's much cheaper...

There are now enough refrigerators with water tanks; it is not necessarily a huge disadvantage, partly rather an advantage, since you refill with fresh water and truly have fresh water, while refrigerators with a direct connection often use stale water from the supply line. In winter, when little chilled water/ice cubes are taken, you should still always draw water with a direct connection to prevent it from going bad. You then take this to the sink to pour it out; in summer, you can reverse the process and bring fresh water from the sink to the refrigerator. Both have their pros and cons.

Because the hose on the refrigerator is about the thickness of a matchstick in diameter and is cut to the right length—here only one meter. So the water standing in the hose is inconsequential. And I drink my gin and tonic with ice even in the cold season; I think there is enough flow rate ensured ^^

which brings us back to the original question: with 2k for a refrigerator, do 100€ for the second water tap really matter that much? Especially since there's a door between the sink and the refrigerator here, and the other side is open to the living room. Adapter and hoses would not have been possible. You also don't plan multiple power outlets from the start...

We have provided a socket for the dishwasher just in case – in case we ever miss it and want to retrofit it. Since the installation location is near the sink and in the same row, there are no further precautions. If the sink were not in the same row, I would have had the supply and wastewater pipes run into the wall or installation level. Regarding the refrigerator discussion: We have set up a side-by-side refrigerator with a crushed ice dispenser near the terrace and have routed a water line there. Since cold water is drawn daily, there is no problem with standing water. I did not want a device with a water tank. Although refilling is not a big deal, always making sure there is enough water is.
