which brings us back to the original question: with 2k for a fridge, do the 100€ for the second water tap really make much difference? Especially since there's a door between the sink and the fridge on our side, and in the other direction it’s open to the living room. Adapters and hoses wouldn’t have been possible. You also don’t plan multiple sockets from the start...
It’s probably also situation-dependent. Our SBS fridge is exactly on the opposite side from the sink. But it is fully integrated into the kitchen ceiling height and has an external filter, which has to be connected into the 5mm line.
Should I put this behind the 130-kilo fridge, which I would then have to pop out of the niche once a year? No, it goes neatly under the sink on the wall. For that we just accept the adapter. Because I find it pointless to place two cold water taps directly next to each other.
