Developer charges heavily for replanning - justified?

Hello Yvonne,

Semi-detached houses do not have to be built identically inside. They only have to comply with the requirements of the development plan, or the textual regulations, regarding eaves/ridge height and roof pitch. Possibly also the external appearance; that's basically it.

Rhenish regards

Sure. Nevertheless, it is easier for the builder to offer and build two identical halves (one mirrored). I only know it like this "with us": always everything the same, you have to pay extra if you deviate from the standard. Maybe they offer two options, then you are already among the construction winners ;)

There are two versions here, and the original poster wants the version like next door. That's somehow crazy... or the builder is now taking the opportunity to earn a bit more...

Hello Yvonne,

no, the BU/GU doesn't care how the semi-detached house is divided inside. What you describe usually applies to developers who build semi-detached houses "by the dozen" and "en bloc" or to bargain hunters who have to outsource the architecture and statics.
Have a nice holiday from the Rhineland

Hello,
yep, the BU doesn’t care... but I was talking about the BT and TE has the problem with BT.

You’re already on holiday with a bridge day, right?

Here in the north, work is done quickly – here the red holiday is only on the calendar.

Hello Yvonne,

Having a "day off" or just enjoying a "bridge day" would be nice...

Today was all about buying a new car because the old one broke down on the highway on Tuesday due to a broken control arm and whatnot. Tomorrow is packed with appointments one after the other.

But you’re right – my mind probably got damaged in the accident too; good thing those who can read are lucky ;-)

Then I wish you a pleasant evening instead!

The question of which version is structurally simpler or even more logical still does not make sense to me. Isn't it the case that it should be more complicated for the BT (ncc) to build the bathroom in the original location? Once again for understanding: the heating technology had to move to the smaller room on the left in the basement for structural reasons (chimney shaft)! For me, it only makes sense to relocate the bathroom as well to have the shortest possible pipes :-o
