Delivery difficulties Metod IKEA

Hello,
are you also having as many problems as I am finishing your kitchen?
For weeks, I have Metod cabinets in my kitchen without knobs, handles, and fronts. None of it is deliverable.
Specifically, it concerns Bodbyn fronts, both drawers and glass doors, as well as Faglavik handles.
Neither online nor in any furniture store nearby are they available, and this has really been the case since Metod started in early June.

That is, of course, annoying. It really must be due to the fronts and handles. I have had 349 individual parts lying in my garage for two weeks – the delivery via the online shop arrived in less than two weeks, and it was complete, even though given the number of parts, I feared the whole delivery might be delayed because some small item might not be available. Veddinge fronts and Blankett handles are apparently standard items....

I have the same problems, wanted to replace the old Ikea kitchen with the new Metod kitchen Bodbyn grey and am having enormous difficulties getting the fronts and handles Faglavik chrome. Luckily, I have not yet dismantled the old cabinets and as it looks, I will now only remove a cabinet when I can order/buy the new one almost completely. According to Ikea, there are delivery difficulties that are being resolved, but no one could say a time frame. I live near the Swiss border, strangely the fronts are orderable in Switzerland, unfortunately they are also not in stock in the stores. I have now ordered the drawer fronts at the Ikea near me in Switzerland and have them delivered directly to my workplace in Switzerland. But as long as I don’t have them in my hands, I don’t believe it! I hope it works!

We feel exactly the same. We received our kitchen delivery 2 weeks ago. During assembly, we noticed that 5 cabinet fronts or fronts for the drawers were missing. We called Ikea and they confirmed that these parts would be delivered later. After now one week of waiting, the fronts have still not arrived. After another call to Ikea, we were told that there are delivery difficulties and the follow-up delivery is expected to take place in February 2015. That means only in 4 months!!!! This whole thing is really unbelievable!!! Why does Ikea sell kitchens when they know for sure that they cannot be delivered completely? If I hadn’t already sold my old kitchen, I would preferably have it taken back. You pay a lot of money for a kitchen and end up with 4 months in which you only get annoyed when you see it. In our case, it is also the BODBYN fronts.

by now our Bodbyn Ivory kitchen is almost finished.
At least we have received all the fronts (drawers).
Sometimes only repeated inquiries at the furniture store helped.
Then the fronts were not available, BUT at least you could order them to your home from the central warehouse via DHL delivery.
It does cost shipping, but better than open cupboards )
IKEA has really been completely overwhelmed by the number of kitchens ordered.
What we still lack are the Förbättra side panels in Ivory.

Before I would go months without any drawer fronts, I would buy the cheapest available ones and when the others are back in stock, I would take advantage of the new return policy and return the temporary fronts. If everyone does it that way, the problems will overall get even bigger, but then I would be selfish. I wonder how such problems can occur despite the gradual introduction of METOD. Or maybe that is exactly the reason? The manufacturers have to produce fronts for METOD and Faktum.
