Well, not everything has been accepted yet. And neither has his work. The problem is that the architect is supposed to accept the trades with us, and he himself obviously simply does not complain about many things or downplays them. WE constantly have to point things out, even though he should actually support us in the flawless execution of the work done. He should see defects that we as laymen do not see and point them out to the craftsmen. Or am I seeing this incorrectly?? It rather gives the impression that he wants to conclude everything as quickly as possible and without much paperwork. Another small example from the weekend.... We pointed out to him with a photo that half of the garage is still full of construction waste and that the craftsmen should please pick it up. The response was.... You cannot assign the waste, and he attached an offer from a disposal company that would pick everything up for 200 euros.... of course at our expense. :X The waste consists of insulation material, bitumen paint, etc.... which can be assigned to the roofer and the shell builder.... but you would have to contact them again.... that would be effort again. Our lawyer specializes in construction law but currently only represents us against the painting company. We have not yet complained about the construction management to him because we do not know what the chances are if there have been no written requests so far. We are already considering involving another expert for the final acceptance..... who of course will cost again.... and that when we are already paying the architect for this.....
