Defective painting works (Q4, painting works)

So if I were to order Q3 and receive something like this, I would be very disappointed. The painter simply failed in his profession. I don't understand how he can't get the wall straight. You can clearly see deep grooves in the plaster. To me, that's Q2 quality of an interior plasterer, not a painter.

Honestly, I see it similarly. I almost fear that he can't do it any better. After all, he fully replastered and sanded the wall. He also seems nice and diligent.

What makes me hesitate now is how to deal with it. He will be here again tomorrow.

Would painter's fleece perhaps be an alternative to save him from further effort that might not bring any results?
