Current Comparison of Prefabricated House Providers (and "Waiting Times")

Hello everyone,

I am Rainario, 40 years old, family dad (daughter Sonnenschein is 2 years old) and now looking for the right nest (-builder) with an existing plot of land.
I have been reading for a while, but now I have to ask a silly question:

Is there anyone here in the forum who has gathered current experiences/impressions, especially regarding the expected waiting times until moving in.
Similar to the comparison from the thread by user gelbes T.

This seems to be a real problem with the big prefab house builders (and there are understandable reasons for it). Hanse Haus (up to 18 months) and Weberhaus (up to 20 months) are just two examples, I’m afraid. Checking other market leaders probably does not lead to different "lead times". Is it always like this with Hanse Haus and Weberhaus?

Presumably, "smaller/local" prefab house builders are a serious alternative.
Which ones are an option in the Landsberg am Lech/Augsburg area?

Spontaneously, I came across the company Invivo (solid construction), but without really significant reviews.
Does anyone know them better or has built with them?

As far as the budget is concerned (without additional construction costs) and without a basement, 300k should ideally be enough (KfW55 without photovoltaics); size about 125 sqm, (partially heated basement will be added with about 59k).
But that doesn’t necessarily make it easier.

Contrary to the title, you apparently are looking for a provider of houses or construction services without specifying the type of construction, and you are probably hoping to find the one who will quench your building thirst the fastest through a comparison (or collecting reports from others about their time span between decision and moving in). However, I fear such a weather report, who might be available for you first, would have no lasting validity and would look different next week.

How far along are you actually? - I read that you already have the plot, so what’s next? - Is there already financing (i.e., is the mentioned budget a commitment), how experienced are you in understanding the development plan for your plot, and so on?

Everything that comes as info now is unreliable. I've heard chaos is currently reigning out there. And it is not Walking Dead.

I wanted to tell you two companies via "Neue Unterhaltung beginnen," one of which we signed with on 12/31/2019, who mentioned shorter times. However, "Neue Unterhaltung beginnen" apparently does not work. In addition, the data given to us in December are apparently no longer realistic according to HilfeHilfe.

I heard there's chaos out there at the moment.

How do you know that and what consequences do you think the builders have to expect? On the websites, I read that the model house exhibitions are closed and the consultation meetings take place via video chat. Since we are not yet concretely in the construction phase, I have no further information.

At least it's reassuring to know that it's not just me - I have already informed the admin about this, but so far without any response :-(

Company names can be mentioned openly here, especially if this does not contain any negative evaluation (which might require moderation), and the fact that you have even become a customer of one of them is certainly not dishonorable.
