Hello everyone,
I recently moved into a new apartment with a niche in the bathroom for a washing machine & dryer. I have already chosen a washing machine & a dryer that are 59.8 cm wide and that I would like to stack on top of each other.
Unfortunately, I noticed that there is a water tap in the described niche that reduces the width at this spot. Due to the protruding tap, the width here is only 59.3 cm. That means the washing machine fits without any problem, but the dryer no longer fits on top because of the tap, as 5 mm are missing. I also don’t know what this tap is used for.

Do you have any ideas on how I could solve this? Are there, for example, attachments I can put between the washing machine & dryer or can such a water tap be relocated?
Best regards & have a nice Sunday
Daniel
