Cracks in walls - Are they very concerning or "normal"?

This is a new building and there are several cracks in very different places.

Here are the questions for you:

[*]Will they become larger/wider?
[*]How can this be counteracted, will they become unnoticeable in the long run?

If I got one euro for every centimeter of crack, I could completely renovate my entire house.

Sorry, I am an absolute layman and unfortunately cannot provide any further information, except that the house was completed in 2017. It is a rental apartment ([Erstbezug]) that I have rented.

Is it a stone wall? Concrete wall? Wooden wall? Plaster? Wallpaper? Felt? Paint?

Why are you despairing over problems that (if at all) concern your landlord?

Send him the photos and wait for his reaction.

What I (layman) can tell you:

Cracks in new buildings are not uncommon, especially when it is only plaster (without wallpaper). Whether and when it becomes worrying, however, must be clarified by the landlord, not you.
