Hello,
I have a quick question regarding the costs for clearing and rejuvenation of a property with a size of approximately 1330sqm. What are the experiences with this topic and what amount should one expect for this undertaking? Does anyone possibly have tips for affordable companies near Teltow?

Thank you in advance and wish you a nice evening :)

Best regards,
Saldier

Cost estimation is quite difficult... We don't even know what's there. Bushes, trees, etc. You can calmly inquire with companies until October; nothing will happen before then due to nature conservation. Affordable offers should be made to you by small local contractors. A excavator and a tractor or similar equipment are needed...

A picture is worth a thousand words. Then you will at least get estimates. In the best case, even current ones from comparable areas ;)

Hello, we are also currently planning to build on a plot of about 4000 sqm and need to clear about 1500 sqm. We have contacted a few companies, but nothing is allowed before October because of nature conservation. Unfortunately, we do not yet have any solid price information. There are fir trees on our plot, which we will sell as Christmas trees this December. Otherwise, there are larger fir trees and bushes. Construction is planned to begin in March 2022.

Knocking down trees is quickly done. There are very good tools for that. I pulled out about a dozen 40-year-old cherry laurels (including roots) in my garden in one afternoon. Keyword come-along winch. Only "real" trees should be cut down by professionals.

We also had to clear a few corners on our new property, unfortunately including two large old trees (luckily more trees will remain than we have to remove). We received the following offer:

- Clearing shrubbery, including roots, sorting, loading and disposal: €5.00 per square meter
- Tree felling, including root system with disposal (where the large wood should not be disposed of but remain on the property for later processing into firewood): between €280.00 (very large birch) and €400.00 (tall fir)

I don't know if this can be considered as individual items. We also had an old house demolished and a construction access created by the same company. So the large equipment was already on the property.
