At first nothing, but eventually one might want to sell, and then it has to go.

I have also heard somewhere that you can apply for the deletion approval and then keep it very well and have it considered during a possible sale at the land registration, so that a deletion is not necessarily required. But I don't know how accurate that is.

The 25€ is correct, I just checked again in my old invoice.

100% correct. But it will probably say in the loan agreement that the priority notice must be deleted. So it depends on the contractual agreements. However, you don’t save anything, you just postpone the payment time into the future ;)

When selling, the buyer usually pays the notary ;-) But well, if it's really only 25€ plus a bit of notary fees, you can of course have it done "just for peace of mind." Same discussion as having a paid-off mortgage deletion done.
