I believe you, but I was aware of that. I find these prefab garages creepy. Stone on stone is simply too expensive, so all that’s left for me is the carport. Let’s see how I can get it done at a reasonable price. Thanks for the info so far.

Admittedly. It is cheaper than here. There are certainly paving crews here and elsewhere that do it cheaper for cash. But—my kids had those—it dragged on like chewing gum, low efficiency. You have to provide all the materials yourself. In the end, you have the pallets with leftovers on the yard. You have no invoice, nothing if something goes wrong. We decided on a well-established real garden landscaping company and therefore perhaps spent a bit more, but the boss did everything. Got the stones and sand, cleaned everything up again, etc. It was worth it to me. Karsten

Then the 50-60€ is already a "reference value" with which I can confront my trade purchaser.

If I want it cheaper, then only with cash.

I also find professional expertise important that goes beyond paving, digging, and moving earth. A terrace needs a slope away from the house. For this, he laid a perimeter drainage under the gravel strip around the whole house, connected to the city's rainwater drains. We do not drain here with soakaways, but via channels that lead the rainwater into the lake, due to the slope and clay soil. He planned the entire system with us, made the strip with the plant pots, see pictures, in front he is currently filling a gravel parking lot for the second car and supports it towards the house with granite blocks, which he still has from an old wall and can be purchased for 15,- per stone. From the parking lot, he is building a stone staircase to the side entrance of the house. The entire system will cost about 16,000 gross, including lawn seeding, which he will also do. And then the share for paving is put into perspective; if it costs 500,- more, I’m not mad either, because they work precisely and well. I can only advise not to take Schmiedle, but rather Schmied. I would also advise asking the structural builder for such tasks, in addition to the landscape gardener.
