The price seems okay, although the question is how much more expensive your general contractor would be. You do have some "bells and whistles," but it still seems to be rather from the lower price segment (outdoor lighting, intercom, etc.). KNX also seems quite affordable to me. If you go for it, make sure that it is really complete (lighting, sockets, shutters, a sensible control concept, motion detectors).
Regarding downlights, I am torn. In hallways, I find them pretty good, especially if you can combine/alternate them with indirect lighting. I would like them in the bathroom (still to come), whereas I find them rather uncomfortable in living rooms, and you have to pay close attention to the light output there. An even illumination requires relatively many spots (LEDs have smaller beam angles). However, this can be very bright, so I would at least connect the whole thing to a dimmer.
Visually, I don’t like surface-mounted downlights at all, but that is a matter of taste.
