I actually see it the same way as Steven.

The basement will not cost much more than the filling and a possibly necessary retaining wall.

Especially since the hole is already mostly there in your case.

The wall would probably cost about the same as a basement wall.

And as far as the money is concerned, you can consider whether you can manage to raise the money through your own work.

In my opinion, a basement definitely has advantages. There you can perfectly accommodate the heating, washing machine, and beer.

First of all, a Happy New Year to everyone.

I don't understand the suggestion with the basement.

If I build a basement, I still have about 300 sqm that I need to fill. A basement costs me 35,000 euros and I only save on the frost protection gravel under the house. The foundation is already included with the general contractor.
I don't want to create added value, but rather build the house on the plot and get a realistic assessment from experienced members.

Please only further comments from those who really want to engage with my problem. Thank you!

Then just make a gradient sketch that is at least roughly to scale. Because: That also means at least 770 m³ ... and that still has to be compacted so that you can build on it. Supposedly, you already have a well-compacted subsoil ... why not build on that? Then you just have to adjust the planning. And then ask for your data for the integrated foundation. What the general contractor sees as a requirement there.
