Correct construction of garage floor?

Hi

if I read that correctly, the current floor is not continuous and also uneven. The slabs surely are not intended for that.

You are absolutely right, Olli. The unevenness must be removed beforehand (with leveling compound or concrete filler). For cracks wider than 2 mm, I would also recommend filling them first with 2-component casting resin, then sprinkling with quartz sand. That’s how the craftsmen on site did it for us before the tiles were laid.
